Since March 2017, I’ve been working as a Writing Consultant at Cuyahoga Community College and will be teaching my first college course in composition this fall.

Previously, I provided support in social media and communications strategies for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, learned outreach strategies while working as a field organizer during the 2016 presidential election, and handled PR and social media communications for two departments at Eastern Michigan University.

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2016 with a Master’s in English Linguistics.  During my two year program, I had the opportunity to present original research at Purdue University‘s 1st Language and Cultures conference, and co-taught an introductory course on linguistics. My linguistic interests include narrative analysis, African-American English, dialectology, and language and gender.
